New Year Course: Back to Basics
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time
(T.S. Elliot, Little Gidding)
For those of you who haven't done much yoga, the New Year is a perfect time to start.
For those of you who have practised for years, every so often it's of enormous value to pause and take stock of all the yoga you have done, and re-visit those early asanas with experience and wisdom, relishing in the deeper understanding and knowledge of the familiar.
So this New Year 2018 we shall return to the foundational postures of yoga, to the breathing techniques that form the bedrock of practise and to the wealth of relaxation methods available. By exploring these fundamentals in a structured and supported way, real consolidation and learning can take place. After all, growth and development need good groundwork, and that is exactly what I am offering in this 10 week course.

About My Classes
Yoga is the union of mind and body, bringing balance and harmony to all the levels of your being. My classes use the yogic postures to stretch, limber and tone the body which promotes flexibility whilst building core strength. You will also discover the stability and centring which comes from utilising your own breath and at the end of each class, experience the deep peace of a relaxation. So, whether you are young or old, stiff or supple, there is something of benefit for everyone. I run my classes as a course, so that true development can take place, but also offer a more expensive drop in option.
All the yoga equipment is provided by me and the sessions take place in newly refurbished halls with excellent facilities.
